Dedicated Servers Built to Order
Tell us what you need. We source the hardware, configure it to your specs, and deploy it in our carrier-neutral Lisbon data centre, operated directly, no US parent, no hyperscaler licence. 8ms to Madrid, 23ms to Paris, 11ms to Casablanca. ISO 27001, GDPR-compliant. No inventory markup, no compromises. Your server, your way.
Three Steps to Your Server
Submit Your Specs
Tell us what CPU, RAM, storage, and bandwidth you need. Include your use case so we can optimise the configuration.
We Source & Configure
We procure the exact hardware, rack it in our Lisbon DC, install your OS, and configure networking. Typical lead time: 7-14 business days.
Deploy & Operate
Your server goes live with full root access, IPMI/KVM, 10Gbps connectivity, and DDoS protection. We handle the hardware, you run your workloads.
No Hidden Costs
All dedicated servers include IPv4 + IPv6, OS installation, 24/7 hardware support, and the 99.9% uptime SLA. Pricing is custom-quoted based on your configuration.
Your Server, Zero Waste
No Inventory Markup
We source your exact specs. You don't pay for hardware we guessed you might need.
12-Month Price Lock
Your monthly rate is locked for the contract term. No surprise price increases.
Exact Specifications
Choose your CPU, RAM, storage config, and RAID level. Every component is what you asked for.
Lisbon Data Centre
GDPR jurisdiction, DE-CIX peering, submarine cable access to Africa and South America.
Measured from Our Lisbon Data Centre
Your dedicated server sits on the same network as our cloud plans: DE-CIX peering, 10Gbps uplinks, diverse upstream providers. Round-trip time from our Lisbon facility to 26 cities, measured by ICMP ping in April 2026.
RTT measured via ICMP ping from the Lisbon DC. Spanish cities show minimum RTT from multi-endpoint testing (April 2026); others show average RTT. Actual latency varies by routing and time of day.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long does delivery take?
Typical lead time is 7-14 business days from order confirmation, depending on component availability. We confirm the exact timeline and final pricing before you commit, so there are no surprises.
What is the minimum contract term?
12 months. Because we procure hardware specifically for your order, the annual commitment allows us to offer competitive pricing while covering the hardware investment. Early termination is possible subject to a penalty fee.
Can I change my server configuration mid-contract?
The server configuration is locked for the duration of the contract term. If your requirements change, we can discuss a new server and contract at renewal. This keeps operations simple and pricing predictable for both sides.
What happens after the 12-month contract?
We contact you 60 days before expiry to discuss renewal. You can renew for another annual term, upgrade to a new configuration, or opt not to renew. If the contract is not renewed, the server is decommissioned and your data is securely wiped.
What is included in the price?
10Gbps network port, DDoS protection, IPMI/KVM remote management, 1 IPv4 address, a /64 IPv6 block, 24/7 hardware support, and a 99.9% uptime SLA with service credits. OS installation is included at no extra cost. Additional IPs and bandwidth are available on request.
Is the server managed or unmanaged?
Servers are unmanaged by default: you get full root access and we handle hardware, power, and network. For teams that need more, we offer a managed add-on (EUR 49/mo) that includes OS patching, monitoring, and backups. Contact us for details.
What is a bare-metal dedicated server?
A bare-metal server is a physical server dedicated entirely to you: no hypervisor, no neighbours, no resource sharing. You get direct hardware access with full root privileges. At RANDHOST, every bare-metal server is custom-built to your specs and deployed in our Lisbon data centre on a 12-month contract.
How does bare-metal compare to a cloud VPS?
A cloud VPS runs on virtualised hardware shared with other tenants via a hypervisor. A bare-metal server gives you the entire physical machine: all CPU cores, all RAM, all storage bandwidth, no virtualisation overhead. Bare-metal is the better choice when workloads need predictable performance (databases, video encoding, ML inference) or when compliance prohibits shared hardware. Our cloud VPS plans are the right fit for most web workloads; bare-metal is custom-quoted for teams that need hardware-level control.
How much does a bare-metal server cost at RANDHOST?
Pricing is custom-quoted based on your CPU, RAM, storage, bandwidth, and any special requirements. There is no inventory markup; we source the exact hardware you specify, so the price reflects the actual components plus operational costs. Submit the configuration form and we respond within 24 hours with a quote for a 12-month term.
What workloads benefit from bare-metal over cloud VPS?
Any workload where shared virtualisation is a constraint: high-throughput databases, ML training and inference, video transcoding, game-server clusters with tight latency budgets, analytics pipelines processing large datasets, and compliance-driven workloads that require single-tenant hardware. If your current cloud VPS hits sustained CPU or I/O limits, or your auditor requires isolation at the hardware level, bare-metal is usually the answer.
